Hemoroff™ (Hua Zhi Pian) supports the normal rectal tract function. Consisting of nine Chinese herbs, Hemoroff is a well-balanced formula that provides anal and rectal support in multiple ways. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), it clears Heat, releases Wind, supports the Spleen, and lubricates the intestines.
Sheng Ma (Cimicifuga) releases Wind-Heat and eliminates toxins. It has an ascending nature. Di Yu (Sanguisorba) is a homeostatic herb which also cools the blood and clears toxic Heat. Used in combination with Huang Qin (Scutellaria) and Huai Hua (Sophora flower), they offer the support to hold the vessels intact. Sheng Di Huang (Rehmannia root) is a powerful Yin tonic which also cools the blood and supports normal elimination by clearing heat which enters the large intestine and dries the fluids.
Zi Cao (Lithospermum root) has several functions in this formula. It clears Heat and cools the blood, eliminates Heat toxins and moistens and unblocks the bowels. Ku Shen (Sophora root) clears Heat and dries Dampness particularly in the Lower Jiao. Ku Shen also dispels Wind and relieves itching. Feng Wei Cao (Chinese brake) treats Damp-Heat accumulation in the Large Intestine. Feng Wei Cao also cools the blood and eliminates toxins.
Chen Pi (Tangerine peel) is a harmonizing herb used in this formula to regulate the middle-jiao (Spleen and Stomach) and dry dampness.
